Fast-setting, highly fluid self-leveling, mortar applied for thickness from 3mm to 7mm repair of concrete
GENERAL
Concrete protector No. 1 is mainly used for: repair of honeycomb, pitted surface, sanding, peeling, exposed bones and slight cracks of high and low speed highways, toll stations, service areas, gas stations, airports, and other cement concrete roads; the repair thickness is 3mm, and the road can be quickly opened to traffic within 2-3 hours after repair.
Application
1. Surface micro-cracks, sanding, peeling, etc. caused by various reasons during the construction of the concrete pavement.
2. Concrete pavement surface honeycomb, pockmarked surface, etc. caused by improper construction operation or deicing salt erosion.
3. The coarse aggregate of the concrete road surface is exposed due to the abrasion of driving, or the concrete road surface is damaged by ice disaster or fire.
4. Thin-layer repair when the concrete pavement elevation is low due to various reasons and needs to be compensated.
5. The above-mentioned similar problems of other concrete members.
FEATURE
This product has the characteristics of good self-flow ability, fast hardening, early strength, high strength, no shrinkage, micro expansion, non-toxic, harmless, non-aging, water and surrounding environment-friendly, strong self-tightness, strong rust resistance, etc.

Packaging and Storage
◆ Packed in composite kraft paper bag, net weight 50 kg/bag, and the shelf life is 12 months;
◆ It must be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and the packaging bag must be airtight. Pay attention to moisture and freezing.
Application
Construction preparation → Confirming the area to be repaired → Pavement milling → Debris and floats cleaning → Surface wetting → Preparation of concrete protector No. 1 → Mixing concrete protector No. 1 → Paving of concrete protector No. 1 → Surface embossing → Curing → Acceptance and transfer (available for traffic)
1. Construction preparation
Before construction, ensure that the materials and machinery are ready. Partially close traffic on the construction section, set up safety warning piers and diversion signs, and have special personnel to direct the traffic of vehicles to ensure the safety of the construction section.
2. Determine the repair area
Position the concrete pavement area to be repaired, and pay attention that the repair area should be slightly larger than (105%~110%) cracked area.
3. Milling of concrete pavement surface
Use a small pavement milling machine to mill the area to be repaired, and the milling depth is preferably 3~5mm. When milling, the milling machine can be pushed back and forth to make the milling depth even. Of course, other suitable methods can also be used

4. Concrete debris and dust removing
Air compressors or backpack-style hair dryers and high-pressure water can be used to clean clean the concrete debris and dust in the area to be repaired.
5. Watering the concrete surface
In order to strengthen the adhesion between the repair layer and the concrete pavement, water should be applied to the concrete surface before laying the repair layer, so that the concrete surface is saturated with no visible water.

6. Preparation concrete protector No. 1 as per certain ratio
Concrete protector No. 1 for repairing thin concrete surface is a single-component light gray powder, which can be used when mixed with water during use.
The mixing ratio is concrete protector No. 1: Water=100: (16-17).
Material consumption: 2kg/mm • m2.
Concrete protector No. 1 for repairing thin concrete surface should be mixed with a forced mortar mixer (disc mortar mixer), and the mixing time should be controlled within 3 to 5 minutes. During the mixing process, use a spatula to shovel the unmixed powder around the stirrer into the pan and mix. If agglomerated powder is found, crush it with a spatula and mash it evenly.
If the construction area is small, a heart-shaped agitator with an electric drill can be used to stir in an iron bucket.
7. Paving of concrete protector No. 1
Pour the mixed concrete protector No. 1 finished material directly into the middle of the area to be repaired, and use a trowel to compact and smooth it.

8. Surface embossing
After paving and leveling the concrete protector No.1, wait for 15 minutes and then use the toothed embossing wheel to roll for surface embossing.

9. Curing
After the paving is completed, it should be cured in a dry environment for 3 hours. During this period, the repair area should be closed for traffic, and it is strictly forbidden to trample or crush the repair area. Traffic can be opened after 3 hours of restoration in summer.
Precautions
1. If the depth of milling is insufficient, milling for several times can be carried out. Generally, it is better to remove loose concrete.
2. Appropriately knock on the vibrating plate body when mixing, so that the powder adhering to the plate wall will fall off, so that concrete protector No. 1 can be mixed evenly.
