Two-component modified epoxy adhesive for CFRP composite system for structural strengthening
GENERAL
JGN802 series carbon fiber adhesive is a two-component modified epoxy adhesive, which is a special adhesive for sticking carbon fiber sheets, and is widely applied in structural strengthening.
Application
◆ Used for painting the bottom layer on the surface of the strengthening structural parts.
◆ Used for repairing and leveling the defects on the surface of strengthening structural parts.
◆ Used for impregnation and pasting of carbon fiber, glass fiber and other fiber sheets on the surface of the strengthening structural parts.
FEATURE
The adhesive has good wettability and permeability, and the composite material formed by the adhesive and carbon fiber sheet has strong mechanical properties and excellent durability. The adhesive also has good thixotropy properties and good suspension, making the vertical surface construction less fluidity.
The cured adhesive layer has excellent physical and mechanical properties, strength and toughness.
This adhesive has good performance in anti-aging and medium resistance (acid, alkali, water).
The adhesive can be cured at room temperature, and it does not contain volatile solvents. It is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, and has high bonding strength.
The proportion of adhesive is loose, and the temperature can be adjusted appropriately for different ambient temperatures. The adhesive is easy to use and easy to operate on site.

Packaging and storage
◆ This product is packed in plastic drum; component A: 9Kg/drum, B: 3Kg/drum;
◆ Shelf life: 12 months.
Construction process
◆ Clean the surface of the substrate: polish the bonding surface to remove the surface scum and loose layer, expose the new surface and blowing off the dust with an air compressor, and then remove the dirt with acetone.
◆ Apply the primer, weigh the required amount of adhesive according to the proportion, and mix thoroughly. Use a roller or brush to evenly spread the mixed primer on the surface of the concrete. When the primer is dry (2 hours in general), proceed to the next step immediately.
◆ Paste the carbon fiber sheet and cut the carbon fiber fabrics according to the design requirements. Weigh the required amount of adhesive according to the proportion and mix it thoroughly. Spread the mixed resin-impregnated evenly on the area to be pasted and paste the carbon fiber fabrics. Appropriately apply more adhesive on lap joints and corners. Use a smooth roller to roll in the fiber direction for many times. Squeeze out the bubbles so that the JGN802 modified epoxy resin can fully penetrate the carbon fiber fabrics. Do not damage the carbon fiber fabrics during rolling. Repeat the above steps for multi-layer pasting. Apply a layer of resin-impregnated evenly on the surface of the last layer of carbon fiber fabrics.
◆ Recommended dosage: JGN802 modified epoxy resin carbon fiber adhesive: 0.6-0.8kg/m2.
◆ Ambient temperature conditions: according to the weight ratio: A:B = 3:1.
