GENERAL

This product is a two-component coating composed of modified epoxy resin, glass flake, curing agent, additives and solvents. Epoxy glass flake is a simple, stable and reliable anti-corrosion technology for the inner wall of steel pipeline. The glass flake coating has excellent mechanical properties, chemical stability and electrical insulation. It is used for the coating of the inner surface of the pipeline, which can fully meet the anti-corrosion technical requirements of oil, gas and water gathering and transmission pipeline and avoid the corrosion of oil, gas, water and other substances in the oil field to metal pipelines to extend its service life.


As an anticorrosive coating, the simplest method of glass flake coating is to isolate the fluid medium from the matrix, and the coating usually has pores. The diameter of small molecules in the fluid medium (water, acid, alkali, etc.) is generally smaller than that of the coating. These media in contact with the coating pass through straight lines, and the coating cannot be coated very thick (otherwise cracks will occur). Even though the general coating can better resist the corrosion of the medium it contacts, it can not resist the diffusion and penetration of the medium to the matrix. Therefore, ordinary anti-corrosion coatings can only be used as atmospheric anti-corrosion and can not play the role of lining, especially in occasions with high liquid medium and temperature. The addition of glass flakes makes the coating change in two aspects. First, it can be processed into very thick without worrying about cracks. This is because the glass flakes divide the coating into many small spaces, which greatly reduces the shrinkage stress and expansion coefficient of the coating; Second, because the multilayer of glass flakes are arranged parallel to the matrix, the route of Medium Diffusion and diffusion becomes curved, which increases the resistance of medium diffusion to the matrix. The glass flakes used in the coating have fish scale effect: thousands of flakes are staggered to form a complex and tortuous penetration and diffusion path in the coating, which makes the diffusion route of corrosive medium quite tortuous and difficult to reach the substrate.


Application

1. Offshore engineering, include equipment, buildings, offshore drilling platforms (especially suitable for corrosive parts in seawater splash area), waterline parts of ships, etc;

2. Large steel structures such as large oil storage tanks, wharf steel piles and bridges, and the inner walls of various chemical equipment, containers and pipelines storing acid, alkali, salt, ammonia and other media, which can replace rubber, plastic and FRP linings;

3. External protection of concrete under various harsh environmental conditions, such as heavy anti-corrosion of cement bridge, sewage treatment tank, seawater tank, workshop floor, wall, etc;

4. Anti-corrosion of buried and underwater steel pipelines and various steel structures, anti leakage of various concrete structures and as wear-resistant and anti-skid layers. It is also applicable to the internal and external wall corrosion protection of steel oil, water, crude oil, heavy oil, sewage, gas storage tanks and chemical containers

FEATURE

6.It has high effective ingredients, can be coated with thick coating at one time, and the dry film thickness of one layer of airless spraying can reach 200 u m;

7.The construction is convenient, and the processes of spraying, rolling brush and plastering can be adopted, which is easy to repair.
