Heat resistant concrete

Heat resistant concrete, also known as refractory concrete, is a special concrete that can withstand high temperature for a long time (above 200 ℃) and maintain the required physical properties at high temperature. It is often used in thermal equipment and structures affected by high temperature, such as blast furnace, converter, coke oven and other basic projects in metallurgical industry and chimney lining.

GENERAL

Heat resistant concrete, also known as refractory concrete, is a special concrete that can withstand high temperature for a long time (above 200 ℃) and maintain the required physical properties at high temperature. It is often used in thermal equipment and structures affected by high temperature, such as blast furnace, converter, coke oven and other basic projects in metallurgical industry and chimney lining.

FEATURE

Product features

◆The fire resistance is almost the same as that of refractory bricks of the same material, but because the refractory concrete (castable) has not been sintered and shrinks greatly during initial heating, the load softening point is slightly lower than that of refractory bricks. Nevertheless, on the whole, the performance is better than that of refractory brick.

◆Fire resistant concrete is superior to low-temperature cementing agent, and has high compressive strength at room temperature. At the same time, because the integrity of the masonry is good, the air tightness of the furnace is good, and it is not easy to deform, the steel plate of the outer furnace shell can be cancelled, and the resistance to mechanical vibration and impact of the furnace is better than that of the brick masonry. For example, the upper part of the side wall used for soaking pit furnace has severe mechanical wear and collision, and its service life is several times higher than that of brick.

◆The thermal stability is good. Most or all of the aggregates are clinker, and the expansion is offset by the shrinkage of the binder. Therefore, the thermal expansion of the masonry is relatively smaller than that of the brick, and the temperature stress is also small. Moreover, there are various network, needle and chain crystalline phases in the structure. Strong resistance to low temperature stress. For example, it is used to pour the mouth and cover of soaking pit furnace, and the service life is extended to one and a half years.

◆The production process is simple and the complex brick making process is cancelled. It can be made into various precast blocks and mechanized construction, which greatly speeds up the furnace building speed and improves the bricklaying efficiency by more than ten times. Waste bricks can also be used as aggregates to turn waste into profit.
