Lightweight aggregate concrete

Lightweight aggregate concrete refers to the concrete with lightweight aggregate, and its apparent density is not greater than 1950kg/m3. The so-called lightweight aggregate is used to reduce the quality of concrete and improve the thermal effect. Its apparent density is lower than that of ordinary aggregate. Artificial lightweight aggregate is also called ceramsite.

Lightweight aggregate concrete is used in industrial and civil buildings and other projects, which can reduce the self weight of the structure, save the amount of materials, improve the efficiency of component transportation and hoisting, reduce the foundation load and improve the function of buildings. It is suitable for high-rise and long-span buildings.

◆Combustion performance grade A2: the fire resistance reaches more than 1000 ℃, and it does not burn at high temperature.

◆High efficiency thermal insulation: the thermal conductivity is low, up to 0.043w / m.k, and the thermal insulation layer has no joints. Meet the requirement of 75% energy saving.

◆High strength: the compressive strength is greater than 0.69MPa, up to 20MPa.

◆Low water absorption: ≤ 6%.

◆Long service life: the same service life as the building.

◆Good sound insulation effect: 7cm thick Jiu tong® lightweight aggregate concrete can effectively reduce noise by 23dB to achieve sound insulation.

◆Good seismic performance: the elastic modulus is only 1% of that of ordinary concrete.

◆Light weight: the density grade is 215 ~ 365kg/m3, which is only equivalent to 8 ~ 10 times of the weight of concrete.

PERFORMANCE

Construction process

1、Bottom treatment

Before laying the composite lightweight aggregate cushion concrete, the bottom layer of the concrete floor shall be treated, the loose concrete and mortar bonded to the bottom layer shall be removed temporarily, the cement slurry skin shall be brushed off with a steel wire brush, and then swept away with a broom. Find the elevation and snap the horizontal control line. Measure the cushion elevation downward according to the 100cm horizontal elevation line on the wall. If possible, snap it on the surrounding walls.

2、Mixing

First add an appropriate amount of water into the mixer, then add a bag of premixed cushion powder, mix it into a uniform slurry, then add a bag of composite lightweight aggregate, and then continuously mix it to form a uniform concrete mixture.

3、Laying, vibrating or rolling

The concrete is mixed with lightweight aggregate cushion concrete, and the concrete is spread on the bottom floor with shovel. The ash is paved with the completed leveling pier as the standard, and it is higher than the leveling pile 3mm. If the thickness is thin, it can be pressed with the shovel and the special wooden clap. Then it will be leveled with the big bar, rubbed or pressed with the wooden trowel, and the whole operation process should be completed in 3h.

Precautions

◆Construction temperature is higher than 5 ℃.

◆It is forbidden to use expired mortar; Attention shall be paid to the maintenance of the cushion after construction, and the surface construction can be carried out after 3 days at normal temperature.

◆During cushion construction, door frame, pipeline and finished vertical wall decoration surface shall not be knocked.

◆Due to the small bulk density, porous structure and high water absorption of lightweight aggregate, the prepared lightweight aggregate concrete also has some of these characteristics. Therefore, full attention should be paid in the construction process to ensure the project quality.

Packaging and storage

Packed in PP bags, with a net weight of 25kg / bag and a shelf life of 3 months; It must be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and the packaging bag shall be sealed. Avoid moisture and freeze.
